He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Newman and Nell Raper Newman; and his brother Charles Newman. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Morgan Newman of Baldwyn; his children, Jennifer Horton (David Bates), Tatia Williams (Eddy), Brian Newman (Jhada) and Jeremy Newman of Baldwyn; his sisters, Gail Bolen (Johnny) and Teresa Long (David); his grandchildren, Mallory Thomas (Justin), Sarah Gilmore (Zack), Will Horton, Carrie Anne Horton and Brian Kase Newman (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Addisyn, Skylar, Benz, Aleah, Blake, Isabella and Emily.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Global Outreach Ministry.
