She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Tyes; her parents, Clinton Gillard and Mozzie Beene Gillard; her children, Ruby Tyes Huddleston and Willie Dale Tyes; and her siblings, Annie Williams, Suzanna Gardner, Willie Gillard, Frank Gillard, Alvin Gillard, Walter Lee Gillard, James Earl Gillard, Elize Gillard and Paul Gillard.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Tyes (Shirley), Tommy Tyes, John Tyes of Tupelo, MS, Jimmy Tyes (Sandy) of Baldwyn, MS, Barbara Mullins (Clifton), Tisha Stewart of Booneville, MS and Sandra Tyes of Baldwyn, MS; and her siblings, Art Gillard, Tisha Beene, Lillie Bell Henry, Fluorine Addell, Earline McLarin, Florsteen Partee and Betty Jean Barnes. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
