He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Glover Coats; his children, David Lee Coats (Anne), Crystal Coats White (Russell) and Philip Jordan Coats; his grandchildren, Austin Tyler White (Carly), Marianna Elizabeth Coats, Josie Melissa Coats, Alexis Grace White, Jacob Lee Coats and Brody Douglas White; his great grandchildren, Lyric Grace Coats and Finley May White; his siblings, Myron Coats (Judy), Bud Coats (Paula), Karen Wilson and Cathy Williams (Don); his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Glover (Betty) and Freida Swinney; his close friend Boston; and his pet Sissy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
