He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barnard and Nannie Ruth Alexander Barnard; his brother Tim Barnard; and his nephew Bryan Barnard. He is survived by: his son Robert Cade Barnard (Kerrie); his siblings, Michael E Barnard, Andrea Kappler and Cathy Morrison; his goddaughter Lindsey Kuykendall (Corey); the mother of his child Carol Barnard Sloan; and his nieces and nephews, Stacie Schultz, Ashley Kaplar, Ronda Lynn Ashely, Dinette Kaplar, Ali Barnard Pennington, Scott Kaplar, Michael Kaplar and TJ Barnard.
