He was predeceased by: his parents, Earline Cummings Scales and Lewis Scales. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Franklin (Herfner), Sharon Scales (Josh), Ronica Scales of Baldwyn, MS and Jass Scales of Baldwyn, MS; his siblings, Arzella Foster, Wayne Scales, Preston Scales and Timothy Scales; and his close friend Kim Smith. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Agnew & Sons Funeral Home - Baldwyn (111 W Water St, Baldwyn, MS 38824). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sandhill M. B. Church (820 Bowdry Dr, Baldwyn, MS 38824).
