He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Wages; his grandparent Francis Wages; and his brothers, Justin Wages and Dakota Courtney. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hoskins Wages; his children, Eddie Barker of Illinois, Skyler Hunt of Blue Springs, Emma Wages of Bartlett, Jesley Wages of Midland, TX, Ashley Barker of Thaxton and Brooklyn Hunt of Blue Springs; his father Donnie Courtney of Mooreville; his siblings, Shawn Roberts of Pontotoc, Kelly Courtney of Mooreville, Brad Davis of Fulton, Colby Courtney of Pontotoc and Brittany Wages of Blue Springs; and his grandchildren, Theodore Emanuel, Kinsley Bramlett, Wyatt Young and Jackson Barker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hayseed Cowboy Church. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
