She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pettit and Jettie Hill Pettit; her great-nephew Spencer Smith; and her grandparents, D. Hill (Bill), Ruth Hill Austin, Dewey Pettit (Sam) and Cecil Shirley Pettit.
She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Jo Howell (Jimmy), Lesia Mann (Loyd), Bruce and Johnny Pettit (Ginger); and her close friend Jean Bryant. She is also survived by 7 nieces, 8 nephews, 5 great nieces, 8 great nephews and numerous friends.
