He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Thompson and Hilda Kirby Thompson; and his brother David Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Ann Thompson of Bassfield; his sons, Dominic Thompson of Pierre Part, LA, Joseph Thompson of Hammond, LA and David Thompson of Sumrall; his stepson John Harris of Gonzales, LA; and his siblings, Belinda Kerley of Meridian and Ronnie Thompson of Sacramento, CA.
