He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Raymond and Mary Bernard Harrington Morton; and his children, Tara Bailey and Taylor Morton. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Calhoun Morton of Bassfield; and his children, Jaclyn Clark (Travis) of Sumrall, Tammy Fagan (Belton) of Carson and Edward Morton of Carson. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
