With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Howard Caffey of Batesville, Mississippi, born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, who passed away on November 19, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Josh W. Caffey, Jr.; and his brother Josh W. Caffey, III. He is survived by: his significant other Trina Meurrier Caffey of Batesville, MS; his daughters, Cheryl Caffey Hayward (Keith) of Oxford, MS and Angela Caffey Hayward of Oxford, MS; and his grandchildren, Alli Hayward, Mary Clark Hayward, Nicole Hayward Arriola (Dillon) and Emily Hayward.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 119 Panola Ave. Batesville MS 38606.
