She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Chapman and Cleopatra Joiner Chapman; her spouse Rev. Eddie Joe Ford; and her siblings, Ida Bell King, Lena Mae Lee and Joe Willie Chapman.
She is survived by : her sons, Darren Ford (Vanessa) and Michael Ford (Shemekia); her grandson Melvin Vaughn; her siblings, Mary Florence Butler, Daphne Watson, Arthur Lee Chapman and Earnest Lee Ales; her close friends, Doris Ford, Shirley Young and Ola Clark; and also Lizzie Brassell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four bonus grandchildren; nine bonus great grandchildren.
She continued her service at Pilgrim Rest under the leadership of Pastor Melvin Ellis and was a faithful member until the Covid pandemic and other health issues hindered her attendance.
