Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lydia May Finn and William Garfield Finn; her husband J. M. Standard, Jr.; and her son Chris Standard. She is survived by: her children, Steve Standard (Debbie) of Water Valley, MS, Sherry Wickwire (Les) of Delaware, Bonnie Mitchell (Roger) of Sardis, MS and Terri Bright (Al) of Batesville, MS. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Cemetery.
