He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Moore and Lessie Loudale Pettit Moore; his brothers, Gerald "Dean", Clarence "Buddy" Edward, Early "Fats" Eugene, Anderson "Bill" Alfred and William "Dub"; his daughter Patricia "Kay" Mattox; his grandson Bernard "Bernie" Burford Jr.; and his great grandchild Gavin Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Lou Moore of Batesville, MS; his children, Danny of Courtland, MS, Ronnie of Courtland, MS, Rickey Moore of Courtland, MS, Sheila Burford Dahlgren of Courtland, MS and Gail Burford (Randal) of Coldwater, MS; and his sister-in-law Beverly Moore of Batesville, MS. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Willow Springs Assembly of God (4600 Pope Crowder Rd, Enid, MS 38927). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Bethel Cemetery.
