With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Amis of Batesville, Mississippi, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his father Mike Amis. He is survived by : his mother Frances Banks Amis; his daughter Catherine Noble Amis; his siblings, Lacy Amis Basinger (David) of Grenada, MS and Parker Noble Amis (Betsy) of Houston, TX; and his nieces and nephews, Brennan Basinger, Charlie, Henry Amis, Meredith Basinger, Mary Frances Basinger Lott (Brooks) and Jessi Basinger Mashburn (Noah).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Batesville Methodist Church, 119 Panola Ave., Batesville, MS 38606, or Explorer's Bible Study, P.O. Box 425, Dickson, TN 37056.
