It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Lantrip (Batesville, Mississippi), who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Edward Lantrip and Johnnie Laverne Young Lantrip; his children, Christopher Gray and Ida Winters; and his brother Willie Lantrip, Jr. (Jerry Lantrip).
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Wayne Lantrip, Jr. of Illinois, John Cory Lantrip of Granite City, Jason McCord Lantrip of Fairfield, Jerrod Justin Lantrip of Courtland, Jon Wayne Lantrip of Pope, Michael Gray of Oakland and Scotty Len Gray of Anchorage, Alaska.; and his sisters, Sally Ann Loggins of Walls and Brenda Smith of Batesville, Mississippi.. He is also survived by ses twenty-three grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
