With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Francis Davis (Batesville, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Francis Davis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Albert Davis and Nina Billingsley Davis; and his wife Jackie. He is survived by: his children, Deanna Davis DeVazier (Dave) of Batesville, Pam Davis Cook (Travis) of Batesville and Dwayne Davis (Laura Beth) of Pope; his grandchildren, Kyle DeVazier (Hannah), Kelsey DeVazier Perry (Fowler), Cole DeVazier (Stephanie), Tylan Boyette, Bryer Cook, Ryan Davis and Cade Davis; and his great grandchildren, Brynn DeVazier, Shepard Gillis, Edi Kate DeVazier and Bennett Perry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (305 Keating Rd, Batesville, MS 38606). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (1924 Pope Water Valley Rd, Pope, MS 38658).
