It is with sadness that the passing of Mary A. Parker of Batesville, Mississippi is shared. Mary, born on February 7, 1942 in Crowder, Mississippi, passed away on September 4, 2026. Mary will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Mary by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Mary is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Mary’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband J. T. Parker; her parents, Ercel W. Bynum and Jewel Elizabeth Manning Bynum; and her siblings, Gladys Davis, Louise Melton and Billy Bynum.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Parker (Brenda) of Pope, MS and James Parker (Pam) of Pope, MS. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Magnolia Cemetery.
