It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Amos McGee of Batesville, Mississippi, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Everett, Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia Diane McGee, Floyd McGee, Jr. (Jere Lynn Smith), Bobby Gene McGee (Cynthia Faye McGee) and John R. Jones; and his stepmother Betty McGee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
