It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian David Stenning of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Alan H. Stenning and Faith Stenning. He is survived by : his pets, Ben and Charcoal; his brother Blake (Suzanne); and his niece Gabby.

“I am so sorry to learn of Ian's passing. I have known him since 1974. In my mind I can still see him, and hear his voice. I don't think I ever met somebody that "calls things like he sees it" more than how Ian did that. Flamboyant, funny, quick to tease, with a voice that really carried. Even before we got there, he was so proud to be an engineer. I often joked that Ian's strong coffee got me through thermo class. We did all nighters Tuesday so we could complete our homework due Wednesda”
