He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Petrea Mayo and Bobby Joe Mayo of Kemah, TX.. He is survived by: his significant other Tom Cottom; his sisters, Donna Morris (Carl) of Austin, TX, Melissa Snell (Willy) of Austin, TX, Linda Keith (Alan) of Kingwood, TX and Mary Sue; his brother-in-law Dale Bullock of Raymond, MS; and also, Dr. Allison Wall and Dr. Summer Allen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nephews, plus countless cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bay Waveland Yacht Club (1 Yacht Club Dr, Bay St Louis, MS 39520).
