He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Luxich and Viola Garcia Luxich; his siblings, Alton "Colly Buck" Luxich, Doris Luxich Jackson, Melvin Luxich and Sharon Luxich Huffman; and his daughter Mary Viola Luxich.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Luxich; his children, Wayne "Tody" Luxich, II (Linda), Megan Luxich Homme (Eric) and Daniel Luxich (Jerica); his siblings, Norvin "Poochie" Luxich (Christine), Myrna Luxich Ladner and Glenn Luxich (Tammy); his grandchildren, Harper Homme, Briley Luxich, Sawyer Homme and Bailey Luxich; and his extended family, Mark Garcia, Ralph Garcia, Russell LaFontaine, Benny Green and Joey Everett.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeshore Community Center (6440 Lower Bay Rd, Bay St Louis, MS 39520). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
