He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George and Pauline Sykes McNeil; his siblings, Mitchell McNeil, Vinson McNeil and Margaret McNeil; his wife Janet King McNeil; his children, Megan Welborn (Wendall), Nick McNeil (Krissy) and Marae Tynes (Jay); his grandchildren, Chase Welborn, Brooke Moffett (Trevor), Brett Welborn (Jennifer), Turner McNeil, Kambri Welborn, Kahlie McNeil, Kane Welborn, Karalyne Tynes and Kennedy Tynes; his great grandchildren, Anne Riley Moffett and Leah Kate Welborn; his sisters, Kathy Pugh (Randy) and Cindy Bass (Carey); and his sisters-in-law, Gaye McNeil and Linda Townsend.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Como Baptist Church (2812 Co Rd 23, Bay Springs, MS 39422). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery (1611 MS-18, Louin, MS 39338).
