She was predeceased by: her parents, Rayburn Armstrong and Polly Jones Armstrong; her husband Jack Herrington; her son Michael E. Martin; her siblings, JP Armstrong, Raymond Armstrong, Albert Armstrong and Johnnie Simmons; and her son-in-law Jimmy Cowden.
She is survived by: her children, Polly Cowden, Kate Martin and Jeff Martin (Faye); and her grandchildren, Marty Cowden (Michelle), Wendy Fisk (Kelly), Lara Crowder and Jane Leeann Chandler. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren, and a host of cousins and other extended family.
