He was predeceased by: his mother Christine Jernigan Smith of Montrose; his wife Hazel Smith; his parent Thomas Buren Smith; his sister Bonnie Jean McCool; and his nephew Jimmy McCool.
He is survived by: his daughter Tonya Smith; his siblings, Wayne Smith (Janiece) and Annette Bergin (Hugh); his grandsons, Austin Smith (Natalie), John Hunter Smith and Chase Smith; his great grandchild Autumn Smith; and his caregiver Bertha Bradley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel of Bay Springs (22 E 4th Ave, Bay Springs, MS 39422). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
