We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2022, at the age of 88, Glennwood Mathis of Beaumont, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his son Glennwood "Woody" Mathis II; his parents, Estes Mathis and Mary Mathis; his siblings, Byron Mathis and Mary Sue Powell; and his grandparents, Dr. E. J., Mary Mathis, George and Sarah Hillman Breland.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Frances Smith Mathis of Beaumont; his children, Debbie (Greg Thomas), Cathy (Mitch Wells), Jennie (Troy Gibbons) and Frankie (LeeAnn Mathis); and his siblings, Billy Ray Mathis of New Orleans, LA and Sara Mathis Barber of Tupelo, MS. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
