He was predeceased by: his daughter Virginia; his parents, James Albert O'Neal and Nan Gray O'Neal; and his brother Darrell O'Neal. He is survived by: his wife Carole O'Neal of Beaumont; his daughter Angela Hurst of Mobile, AL; and his siblings, Ricky Edward O'Neal (Peggy) of Sebastopol, Chuck Murry O'Neal (Kathy) of Sebastopol and Bristina McElhenney (Eric) of Union.
