With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alyce Landwirth Weems of Belzoni, Mississippi, born in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Alyce find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Anna Thompson Guinn and Manual Nathan Landwirth; her husband Jimmy (Jimmy); and her siblings, Barbara Ann Landwirth Beckham (James Lee Beckham) and James Leon Landwirth (Bettye Ivy Landwirth).

She is survived by : her children, William Frederick Weems (LaNelle) of Brandon, MS, James Edwin Weems Jr. (Lisa) of Inverness and Julie Ellen Sykes (Jay) of Leland, Mississippi.. She is also survived by four grandsons and two great granddaughters.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Inverness Methodist Church (805 5th St, Inverness, MS 38753). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
