It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Curtis Ragland Sr. of Belzoni, Mississippi, who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. A. Ragland and Audrey Reed Ragland; his former wife JoAnn Cleveland Ragland; his son Mike Ragland; and his brothers, Earnest Ragland, Ronald Ragland, Larry Ragland and Sid Ragland.
He is survived by: his wife JoJo; his children, Robert Ragland, Jr. (Cindy) of Belzoni and Tami Ragland Hawkins (Bubba) of Belzoni; and his sister Ann Hill of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Belzoni or Beulah Baptist Church of Inverness.
