He was predeceased by : his parents, Parker William and Ola Neoma Spivey Fitts; and his sisters, Shirley Fitts Pilgrim and Sylvia Fitts Peacock (Venice). He is survived by : his wife Marvie Jennings Fitts of Belzoni; his children, William G. Fitts, Jr. (Megan) of Canton, Richard Morgan Beckham (Mindy) of Grenada, Teresa Ann Fitts of Greenwood and Mari-Chris Beckham Savage (Sam) of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, William Parker Fitts, Riley Morgan Beckham, Nola Jennings Beckham, Samuel Field Savage, William Turner Savage and John Beckham Savage; and his brother-in-law Mark Pilgrim of Moorhead. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
