He is survived by: his children, Glinda Walton (Billy Joe) of Bentonia, MS, Chris Carpenter (Tammy) of Bentonia, MS, Timmy Carpenter of Bentonia, MS and Andy Carpenter (Lisa) of Ackerman, MS; his sister Christie Mims (Jerry) of Coila, MS; and his brother-in-law Danny Kerr of Teoc, MS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
