He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha "Toni" Allen (Beckett) and Omer C. Allen; and his brother Mike Allen. He is survived by: his wife Anne Allen; his children, Andrew Allen (Brittany) of Anchorage, AK, Elizabeth "Beth" Allen of Pensacola, FL, Tiffany Smith (Chet) of Ponder, TX, Martha "Grace" Fisher (Terry) of Rapid City, SD and Abigail Allen of Tupelo, MS; his siblings, Major Kent Allen (Stephanie) of Big Creek, MS and Camille Davis (James Ray) of New Albany, MS; and his grandchildren, Sarah Schmitz (Noah), Isabella "Izzy" Heatherly and Asher Ronan Allen.

In lieu of flowers the Allen family would like all memorial contributions to be made to The Gideons International organization.
