He was predeceased by: his parents, Orestus Winter and Vivian Taylor Rodgers; his wife Kathryne Virginia White; and his siblings, Charles Dale Winter, Cecil Pullen and Ruth Overn Hitt.
He is survived by: his children, David Winter (Kim) of Big Creek, Virginia Pettit (Phillip) of Bruce and Shirley Willhite (Bobby) of Calhoun City; and his sister Dorothy Williams (Burl) of Russellville, AR. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pryor Funeral Home (109 S Monroe St, Calhoun City, MS 38916). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
