He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Black and Mary Black; his siblings, Donna Black, Maurice Black, Jr. and Frances B. Revels (Black); his wife Clarice Theresa Black; and his former wife Gwendolyn Williams Black.
He is survived by: his children, Clifton "PeeWee" Black, Jr. (Theetta I. Black), Shawn Black (Jihye Black) and LaWanda Jones (Black); and his siblings, Bonita Church, Donald Black and Renata "Toni" Pinkney (Black). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
