He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Anselmo Simmons; his parents, Warren Simmons and Louise Simmons; and his sister Paulette Martin. He is survived by: his children, Duane Brown and Leonora Brown; his grandchildren, Christopher Desselles and Kalea Williams; and his brothers, Gary Simmons (Roxanne), Henry Simmons (Jamey) and Darrin Simmons (Tyla). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home (13872 Lemoyne Blvd, Biloxi, MS 39532).
