We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2025, at the age of 81, Dora D. Faison (Biloxi, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dixie and Wilma Dixie (Buford); her grandfather Charles; her great-aunt Chaney Fountain; her son Richard Aaron Murrell; her sister Ethel D. Childress; and her great-nephew Michael McNeil, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Tracy Elaine Murrell; her granddaughter Atkevia Ferrell; her siblings, James, Wilmer Dixie of California, George Dixie of Memphis, Tennessee, Mary White of Cypress and Fannitta Clark (Larry) of Daphne, Alabama; her siblings' children, Greg Dixie, Karen Gentry, Jodii Childress, James L Dixie III, Aundra Carter, Jamon Dixie, Joe Childress, Jr., Jameela Williams, Rachel Dixie and Kristen Clark; and also Therese.
Viewing was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Infinity Funeral Home (184 Main St, Biloxi, MS 39530). Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Paul United Methodist Church (696 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Biloxi, MS 39530). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Calendar Southern Memorial Park (2076 Beach Blvd, Biloxi, MS 39531).
