She was predeceased by: her parents, Philogene Broussard and Josephine Broussard; her husband Charles; her sons, Arthur and Mark; and her siblings, Lovella Norman, Noella Bostick, Kelly Broussard and Elgee Broussard.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mercedese Broussard, Doryanne Looper, Marilyn Broussard and Carolyn Griffin; and her children, Zachary Lazard (Frankie), Dymphna Dumas, Hyacinth Andersen (Jon) and Xavier Lazard (Teresa). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of lifelong friends.
