He is survived by: his wife Susanne Groom; his children, Susanne Sheldon (Jon), Marc Howard Groom and Eric Follansbee Groom; his siblings, Evelyn Brown, Carol and Theodore Edmister; his grandchildren, Kathryn Dunn (Dill) and Scott Tillis; and his great grandchild Grayson Tillis.
