Ida B. Spruill Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida B. Spruill (Biloxi, Mississippi), born in Deridder, Louisiana, who passed away on January 22, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Crosley McClain and J. C. Fulton; her stepfather James McClain; her son Rudy Spruill; and her brother Larry McClain.

She is survived by: her husband Billy Spruill; her children, Vivian Burgess (Charlie, Jr.), Terrance Spruill (Linda), Derrick Spruill, Shannon Alexander (Mark) and Brian Spruill (Cassandra); and her siblings, Enoch McClain (Jill), Danny McClain, Sandra Hubbard and Jackie McClain (Helena). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Ida's memory.
