We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to James Stephen Handlon of Biloxi, Mississippi, born in Columbus, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. Dora Edward and Mary Rose Campbell Handlon; his wife Dixie Handlon; and his siblings, John, David, Michael Handlon, Sharon Handlon Massie and Barbra Handlon Jones.

He is survived by : his children, Kyleen Creekmore of Biloxi, MS, Rick Day of Elizabethtown, KY and David Day (Lora) of Elizabethtown, KY.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southern Mississippi Funeral Services (6631 Washington Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Mississippi Funeral Services Chapel (6631 Washington Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564).

In lieu of flowers the family request to send donations to VFW Post 6731 4321 West Gay Road, D'Iberville MS 39540 in memory of James Stephen Handlon.
