He was predeceased by: his wife Victoria Kanode Misko; his parents, Joseph Rocco Misko Sr. and Velma Dujmov Misko; and his brothers, Peter Anthony Misko and Joseph Rocco Misko Jr..

He is survived by: his sons, Duane Misko and Daniel Misko; his siblings, Marie Johnson, Loraine Joseph (Tom) and Keith Misko; and his uncle Biloxi Mardi Gras Krewe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
