She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Jerry "Tommy" Staley, Jr.; and her grandparents, George, Elizabeth Swanson, Joe Goss and Jerry Staley.
She is survived by: her mother Jennie Swanson Staley Hines; her husband Bryant Minton of Biloxi, MS; her son Grant Minton of Hattiesburg, MS; her sister Stefanie McCarley (Byron); her grandmother Judy Goss; her parents-in-law, Bill and Donna Minton; her sister-in-law Katy Minton; and her nephew Gabriel Staley. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Desoto Theatre (530 Broad St, Rome, GA 30161).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to a fund set up for her son, Grant, to help with his education expenses.
