She was predeceased by: her parents, George DeScheen and Ellen DeScheen; her husband John Mansfield Sr.; and her stepmother Kathryn DeScheen. She is survived by: her children, John Mansfield Jr. (Melanie), Cathy Strayham (Jimbo), Karen Nielsen (Curtis), Susan Simpson (Ben) and Brian Mansfield (Becky); and her grandchildren, Scott Mansfield (Tara), Dallas Mansfield (Ashley), Kyle Palmer (McLauren), Brett Palmer (Hannah), Kyle Strayham (Jamie), Claire Nielsen (Ross Bunnell), Tyler Nielsen (Kolleen Mueller), Ben Simpson (Leslie), Shana Broussard, Chad Simpson, Ashley Seymour (Scott), Jessica Burton (Shawn) and Kathryn O'Rourke (Hunter). She is also survived by her 19 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
