She was predeceased by: her husband Zeb Beck; and her son Stephen Richard Beck. She is survived by: her sisters, Anne Sloan Horton and Barbara Sloan Shepherd; her children, John Vance Beck (Patricia) and Elizabeth "Libby" Beck Brookshire (Bruce); her grandchildren, Jonathon Gavin Beck (Danette), Emily Elizabeth Knox (Brandon), Bruce Carter Brookshire Jr., Zebulon "Zeb" Bowen Brookshire, Brandon Anderson Brookshire and Stephen Christopher Beck (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Georgia Deann Beck and Ryan Allen Knox.
