He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Lee, Sr. and Willie Mae Wilson; his wife Leonnis Naomi Dickey; and his brother Ronnie Wilson (River Lee). He is survived by: his children, Tina Holmes (Stacey) of Maryland, Jonathan Wilson of Wiggins, MS and Jermaine Wilson (Suge) of Panama City, Florida; his siblings, Shirley Blackmore, Betty Wilson, Pamela Wilson of Hattiesburg, MS, Deborah Brown (Jackie Johnson) and DeShawn Wilson (Jessica) of Spring; his aunt Vera Everette of Denver, CO; and his sister-in-law Mary Posey of Biloxi, MS. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Morning Star Baptist Church (21 Dawson Rd, Wiggins, MS 39577). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
