He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Capuano and Jeanette Capuano; his wife Linda Kay Kostmayer Capuano; his grandson Owen Philip Tabor; his son-in-law Charles "Beaux" Brumfield; his sister Stephanie Capuano; and his parents-in-law, Bernadine Kostmayer, Ebbie and Catherine Kostmayer.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Brumfield, Christie Lepe (Carlos), Lisa Tabor (Jordan) and Louis Capuano III (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Chad Brumfield, Caitlin Brumfield, Elizabeth Brumfield, Reed Tabor, Michaela Capuano and Eli Lepe; and his siblings, Peter Capuano (Karen), Nick Capuano (Kathy) and Laurie Herring (Jody). He is also survived by many godchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 14379 LA-73, Prairieville, LA 70769. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral (870 Howard Ave, Biloxi, MS 39530). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family is asking for donations to be made in Louis's memory to The Rain Will Bring Flowers Foundation for the prevention of teen suicide in honor of his grandson, Owen.
