He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret-Ann Harper Magee; his parents, Marie Holloway-Magee and Andrew Magee; and his siblings, John T. Magee, Ernest Magee and Eva Kelley.
He is survived by: his children, Alesia Lynn Magee of Los Angeles, Lynnwood Dale Magee, Jr. and Andrew James Magee of Gulfport; the mother of his children Shelia Thomas of Gulfport, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Amaurie Ja'Deja Williams of Eielson, Alaska, Andrew James Magee, Jr., Kai Simone Davis, Mallory Jade Magee, Morgan Jewel Magee, Aloni Lynn Magee and Lynnwood Dale Magee, III of Gulfport, Mississippi; and his siblings, Prentiss Magee (Freddie), Ann Lewis, Rosie Magee, Barbara Llyod (Joe), Elouise Magee (Karen), Willie Magee and Michael Magee (Rhonda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
