He is survived by: his siblings, Tim Gillespie, Eric Gillespie Sr. (Beth), Rhonda Gillespie and Marc Gillespie; his nephew Eric Gillespie Jr. (Ophelia); his great-nephews, Owen and William; his nephew Mike Gillespie; his niece Lauren Gillespie; his sister-in-law Julie Gillespie; and his nephew Brian Gillespie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (8343 Woolmarket Rd, Biloxi, MS 39532). A prayer was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
