She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Higdon; and her parents, Raymond Blair and Lona Blair. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Higdon (Megan) of Tennessee and David Higdon of Ocean Springs; and her grandchildren, Michael B. Higdon, Jennifer Pickel (Robbie), Zachary Higdon (Brittany) and Caitlin Pagitt (David). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
