She was predeceased by: her former husband John Bertucci; her parents, Sharp Jernigan and Mae Jernigan; and her brother Tom Jernigan. She is survived by: her husband Willard "Bill" Byrd; her stepdaughter Nancy Kraus (Steve); her sons, Kevin and David; her stepdaughter Linda Ros (Hank); her stepgranddaughter Rachel; and her sisters, Bobbie Welch and Sue Busby. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
