He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Lyons and Joy Branson Lyons; and his nephew Rudy Strahan. He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Ann Halliburton (Steve) of Jackson, MS and Susie Strahan (Greg) of Owensboro, KY; and his siblings' children, Kristy Compton (Mike) of Charlotte, NC, Elizabeth Strahan of Charlotte, NC and Will Strahan (Jordan) of Owensboro, KY. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.
